FC Futura Juniorit ry takes pride in its history and continues its determined work to support Finnish football, always striving to improve and evolve.
Founded in 2010, FC Futura Juniorit is a bilingual youth football club based in Porvoo, specializing in junior development. The club is part of FC Futura, established in 1992. Over the years, our club has served as a launching pad for many players who have gone on to succeed both nationally and internationally.
Notable careers include those of Thomas Lahdensuo (FC Inter), Mikko Sumusalo (FC Honka), Minea Lassas (PK-35), Fredrik Lassas (HJK, HIFK), Fredrik and Richard Jensen (FC Augsburg, Roda JC), Topi Valtonen (FF Jaro), Keaton Isaksson (MIFK), Mikko Lönnströn (KooTeePee, FC Viikingit), Alice Wiksten (PK-35), Emil Conti (FC Viikingit, HIFK), Ronja Grönroos (VJS), and Hanna Pyhäjärvi (HJK). Many of our juniors have also represented FC Futura’s senior team.
From the very beginning, our junior operations have been developed professionally, passionately, and purposefully—always with joy. Italian coach Roberto Nuccio served as the club’s Head of Coaching until 2015. Under his leadership, individual teams were united into a cohesive club structure. His eight years of dedicated work elevated the level of coaching and laid a strong foundation for the club’s future success.
